Met with United Nations agencies and governments to insure the inclusion of psychosocial issues in the United Nations agenda and to further the mission of IAAP
Drafted advocacy statements and signed IAAP as co-sponsor of statements at the United Nations.
Represented IAAP at, and served on Executive Committees and Boards of, United Nations Committees.
Participated in high-level United Nations meetings, e.g., on Happiness as a New Economic Paradigm.
Participated in the Planning Committee of the annual Psychology Day at the United Nations, and served as Co-Chairs, speakers and/or panelists.
Implemented partnership “field projects” in developing countries related to the United Nations MDGs and IAAP’s mission (see Boxes 6 and 7).
