2020 IAAP ELECTIONS
Call for Nominations for Division President-Elect
In 2020, IAAP members in good standing of Division 17 (i.e., 2020 membership dues paid) will be invited to elect a new Division President-Elect who will assume the presidency of Division 17 at the end of the International Congress of Applied Psychology (ICAP) to be held in Beijing on July 24-29, 2022.
The election will take place between July 10 and August 9, 2020 if the call for nominations for Division President-Elect yields one eligible nomination or more by June 30. If it does not, then, a second call for nominations for Division President-Elect will be launched, and the election will take place between September 3 and October 1, 2020. In either case, the election will be conducted through online voting, using software designed to ensure accurate, secure, closed voting.
The IAAP member who is elected President-Elect of Division 17 will serve as Division President-Elect until the 2022 ICAP and then proceeds to serve as Division President for four years (2022-2026) and Division Past President for two years (2026-2028).
Call for Nominations
As Chair of the Elections Committee for Division 17, I have the pleasure of asking members of Division 17 to submit names of candidates for the office of President-Elect of Division 17 in keeping with the Rules of Procedure for the Elections of IAAP Division Presidents-Elect and Other Officers (as adopted by the Board of Directors of IAAP on July 26, 2016).

Please remember that only Division members in good standing with IAAP (i.e., those who have paid their 2020 membership dues) can nominate candidates for Division President-Elect, and only Division members who have been in good standing with IAAP for the last two years or more (i.e., those who have paid their 2019 and 2020 membership dues) can be nominated for Division President-Elect. In accordance with the Rules of Procedure for the Elections of IAAP Division Presidents-Elect and Other Officers (2016), if no eligible nominee has been nominated by the end of the second nominating period, one will be appointed by the IAAP Executive Committee following a recommendation from the Elections Committee of IAAP as soon as a suitable candidate for the position of Division President-Elect has been identified.
