Division 3: Psychological & Societal Development

Division 3 is concerned in part with the ways psychology can contribute to human well-being at a societal level involving issues such as health, education, gender equality, ethnic tolerance, inter-group relations and even political disputes. Primary emphasis, however, is placed upon understanding how these are affected by different histories, cultures, ethnicity and epistemology, and thus the call for applications of psychology to be cognizant of these differences.
