Aims and objectives of the White Papers:

The aims of the Alliance for Organizational Psychology (AOP) white paper series is to:

  1. Address globally relevant topics that are of interest to policy and decision-makers
  2. Highlight key areas where Organizational Psychology can make a substantial contribution to practice
  3. Feature contributors offering international perspectives and viewpoints

The intended purpose of these White Papers is to share information about the value of Organizational Psychology (OP) and how OP can be used to improve the well-being and performance of people and organizations with non-OP HR and business practitioners and leaders. 

Special thank you to the Alliance White Paper Subcommittee members (Angela Carter, Hazel McLaughlin, Maree Roche, and Lynda Zugec) for their efforts and support in making the white paper series a reality.

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, please send your articles/resources/tools for Teleworking, Virtual Teams, and Online Learning to the IAAP Division 1 Communications Officer, Lynda Zugec at Lynda.Zugec@TheWorkforceConsultants.com so that we can compile your contributions and make them available through the newsletter and on the IAAP Division 1 website.

Message From Elections Committee: Nominations Open for Division 1 President-Elect

We hope each of you are doing well during these very unusual and challenging times. As a work and organizational psychologist, you may be thinking about how leaders influence the direction of our nations, organizations, and our future as we address ways to redefine work.

Who do you think possesses the skills required to lead work and organizational psychologists at the international level?

Who can help align Division 1 members in promoting the science and practice of applied psychology in ways that address these new demands? 

The timeline for nominations is shown below and details regarding eligibility and the nomination procedure can be found at the link below. Please see that the deadline to submit nominations is the 30th of June 2020 at 11:59 PM (New York City time).
